Day cleared. Anything else is for the love of it.

Nothing yet. A three-letter word is a fine start.

The hive map

When you call it a day, the hive map opens the board into its combs — every word cluster on its stem. Learn the stems and clusters and two things grow: tomorrow's quota falls faster, and the words stay yours.

How it plays
  • LengthThree letters or more.
  • MiddleEvery word uses the middle tile, as often as you like.
  • ReuseTiles repeat inside a word.
  • The quotaFill all six rows and the day is done. No score, no ladder — range is the goal, not volume.
  • THOne tile, one tap, two letters. Its own row, so you can't finish without it.
  • Rare wordsCount in their row like anything else, and get a gold mark. Nothing real is ever left off.
  • RejectedOnly if it isn't a word. Think we're wrong? Send it.

How it works

A
Tap tiles to build a word, Enter to submit. Every word uses the middle tile, as often as you like, and tiles repeat freely.
TH
The pair tile: one tile, one tap, two letters. Its letters only come attached — and it has its own quota row.
6
Fill six rows — threes to sevens plus the pair row — and the day is won. No score, no ladder. Range is the goal.
10%
The deep dive is the stretch above the quota: five levels, Novice to Luminary — Luminary is one word in ten of everything the board holds. Rare words count everywhere and get a gold mark.

The fine print

Quota: five 3s · four 4s · three 5s · two 6s · one 7-or-longer · five pair-tile words. Only words not in our dictionary are rejected — and you can tell us we're wrong. The hive map at the end opens the whole board in combs — stems and clusters — so the pattern shows and the words stick.
